MEET YOUR
PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Dr. Phil Young DPT, CIDN
Husband. Father. Athlete. Therapist.
Long before I became a Doctor of Physical Therapy, I was just another person frustrated by the cycle of pain. I spent over a decade battling chronic back issues — trying everything, getting nowhere, and wondering if I’d ever get back to running, climbing, or riding trails with my family.
That experience shaped how I practice today.
With a B.S. in Human Movement from Utah State and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University, I’ve combined evidence-based training with lived experience to create something different — a model that’s not about billing codes or symptom-chasing, but actual healing.
I founded Advantage Therapy because I believe no one should feel stuck in pain or stuck in a broken system. My sessions are one-on-one, deeply hands-on, and grounded in science — but more importantly, they’re built on trust and real human connection.
I’m certified in Dry Needling (with Total Motion Release), and I specialize in advanced manual therapy techniques that go far beyond the basics — from joint mobilizations and manipulations to instrument-assisted fascial work, cupping, and electro-needling.
But at the heart of it all: I’m a dad, a husband, and someone who simply wants to help people move better, live fuller, and get back to doing the things they love.
